OFFICE OF THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC PROSECUTIONS

Administration Department


The department is responsible for overseeing the general operations of the Office and has the following functions:

 

i) The administration and management of the support and facilitative services of the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. 

ii) Coordinating the preparation of annual budgets and interpretation of financial and accounting policies, procedures, systems, statements, rules and regulations.

iii) Overseeing the preparations of financial statements and accounts.

iv) Ensuring custody, maintenance and security of all the Office facilities and property.

v) Coordination of the development, review and implementation of human resource management policies, systems, plans and procedures.

vi) Overseeing recruitment and management of staff.

vii) Coordinating the procurement of goods and services and disposal of the Office.  

viii) Coordinate the development and implementation of Information Communication Technology strategies, policies, systems and plans.

ix) Coordinate the development and implementation performance management system in the department.

x) Development and implementation of records management policies and procedures.

xi) The preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual reports relating to the mandate of the Department.
