Coordination (quality assurance)

The Department is responsible for the overall performance of Prosecutions.

The functions for the department will include the following:

a) Coordinating and Supervising Prosecutions in regional offices.

b) Handling international and regional treaties and other instruments dealing with general or regulatory offences.

c) Prepare periodic reports on the affairs of the department, divisions, and regional offices.

d) Undertake regular inspections of prosecution operations in the county to ensure adherence to standards.

e) Advise on policies, guidelines and strategies for the Department county affairs and delegated prosecutions.

f) Supporting delegated prosecutions and monitoring quality assurance.

g) Undertake Prosecutors performance management.

h) Handling of complaints and compliments.

i) Promoting collaboration and partnership with stakeholders.
